BIO-Bishop-Designate Kelvin Shouse

Pastor Kelvin Shouse serves as the senior Pastor of Calvary Covenant Fellowship Church, formerly Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church located in the city of High Point, North Carolina.

Pastor Shouse is a life-long member of Mt. Calvary Holy Church of America and has labored diligently in service to the kingdom of God celebrating thirty years of ministry and twenty-two years in the Pastorate.  This extensive amount of time in ministry allows him the unique perspective of kingdom ministry.  He has served in almost every capacity of the church during his tenure.  He is know for his servant spirit and has served the leaders of the church as adjutant.  His life exemplifies humility through service.  He is an example of the scripture, “the greatest among you will be servant”.

He has given his life to instructing and empowering the people of God domestically and internationally.  Countless lives have been impacted by his anointed preaching. God has undoubtedly entrusted him with a peculiar anointing, and an accurate prophetic gift. He is a highly sought after and well respected preacher.  His messages are relevant and didactic. Presently, he is the founder of The Ministry Institute, an institute dedicated to training preachers, leaders and teaching proper protocol in the local church.

Pastor Shouse began his academic career at Forsyth Technical Institute, now Forsyth Technical Community College, and obtained an Associate Degree in Business Administration. He has obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry both from the University of Southern California Graduate School Of Theology. He is a member of the Joint College of Bishops, Cleveland, Ohio and has been for twelve years.

As a long standing member of Mt. Calvary Holy Church of America Pastor Shouse follows a long legacy of church leaders, which include his sainted grandmother the late Mother Helen Cloud, who served as Assistant to the founder the late Bishop Broomfield Johnson at the local Winston-Salem church, and as the North Carolina State Mother. He has also served as the Co-Pastor of the Mt. Calvary Holy Church Raleigh, North Carolina, with Pastor Shirley Caesar Williams.

Pastor Shouse is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina born to the late William Ralph Shouse and Portia Cloud Shouse Boyd. He is the author of After the Sifting There is Life. Pastor Shouse has received many commendations, recognitions, community and civic awards.  He is best known for having served as the grass roots campaign manager for the successful election of President Barack Obama.

BIO-Bishop-Designate Tejado Hanchell

Dr. Tejado W. Hanchell is a 21st century “leadership liaison” whose passion is to help connect people and organizations to their purpose. He is a coach, consultant, and counselor and is a leading strategist on leadership and succession planning for churches, non-profit organizations and corporations. Dr. Hanchell has over 15 years of leadership experience and brings a wealth of wisdom to help enhance lives and increase productivity. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Mount Calvary Holy Church of Winston-Salem, NC (“The Church Committed to do MORE”) – the “Mother Church” of the Mount Calvary Holy Church of America, Inc., where he also serves as General Secretary and International Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry under the leadership of Archbishop Alfred A. Owens, Jr.

Dr. Hanchell is a much sought-after preacher, teacher and lecturer whose presentations are filled with Truth, Wisdom, and Humor. His ministry has afforded him the opportunity to speak at churches and conferences throughout the United States and the Caribbean, including the country of his birth, The Bahamas, which is also the base of his international ministry. He serves as the Vice-President of Great Commission Ministries, an international missions organization, founded by his parents, Bishop Walter and Elder Minalee Hanchell, to minister to the needs of the poor and disenfranchised. The ministry operates two homeless shelters, a feeding center, counseling center, and an after-school program for children, in addition to several churches and orphanages in such countries as Bangladesh and Kenya.

Dr. Hanchell is also an educator. He has served as Assistant Dean of Calvary Bible Institute in Washington, DC, and he is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Carolina Christian College, where he also teaches courses in the Leadership and Homiletics. He also has the privilege of serving as a chaplain with the Forsyth Jail & Prison Ministries where he ministers to incarcerated men, women, and children at the Forsyth County Jail, Forsyth Correctional Center, and Forsyth Youth Detention Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Dr. Hanchell is a social media maven. Thousands of people tune in daily to read his words of wisdom on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. He is a communicator and influencer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Morgan State University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He also received a Master of Science degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland, and has earned a Ph. D in Organizational Leadership from Regent University where his research focus was leadership succession.

Dr. Hanchell serves in numerous other capacities in ministry and civic organizations, but his greatest joy and number one priority is being a loving husband to his beautiful wife, The Rev. Victoria F. Hanchell, and a devoted father to their two children, Zaria and Zion. Dr. Hanchell has the heart of a servant. His life’s motto is, “I don’t want my gift to take me anywhere that my character cannot keep me.”
